We hope that you can come join us, all throughout the neighborhood, at the Summit For Sale Yard Sale on Saturday, 9am to 2pm.

Pick up your yard sale map at 54 Lauriston St, and go find some bargains (and meet some neighbors)!

A copy of the map is posted here also: Yard Sale Map

Hi Carolyn,

Sorry for the lack of communication. Your address is definitely included on the map, and publicity has been underway. We are announcing the yard sale in various appropriate areas. Also, your Official SNA Yard Sale Participant sign was delivered to your home yesterday.

Since we are an all-volunteer organization, sometimes our communications fall short in exchange for actions. We are always in need of more hands to help, so please do not be afraid to join us! Our meetings are the third Monday of every month at Summit Commons, 7pm. We’d be very pleased to have anyone there!

I am seriously distressed in the fact that my address is not listed on the Yard Sale map information. I sent in my fee as well as my 2011 membership some time ago — certainly in time for the deadline. I am not happy!! It also took forever to find the information in the first place. The yard sale was only publicized to the list serve????

Thank you to everyone who participated in the “Summit For Sale” yard sales last weekend! We had 62+ yard sales all across the neighborhood and heard many happy customers ravving about all the good stuff they were finding. Many folks came to pick up the map at 54 Lauriston St.

We also heard some great stories from households who participated in the sale! One woman reflected on how she met so many international folks on the day of the sale. Others were happy to meet some new neighbors. I know I found a great tomato grower and was happy to see that the yard sale I bought it from was almost out of stuff! They were on Hope St, so they certainly had a lot of traffic!

We were disappointed that some of our signs directing customers were taken down. So, apologies to the families who didn’t get as much traffic because of this situation! That being said, overall, it was a great day and a wonderful excuse to be outside on a HOT late September day.

Thank you again for your support and participation.
