In collaboration with the Providence Parks Department, the Friends of Lippitt Park is excited to host a summer movie night at Lippitt Park on Friday, August 28th at 7:30pm. Bring a chair, a blanket, a friend, and some snacks and join us for a screening of the family-friendly, animated cartoon Zootopia 2 under the stars.
This event is free and open to all.
In Zootopia 2, newly minted detectives Judy Hopps (Gennifer Goodwin) and Nick Wilde (Jason Bateman) face a major partnership test when a smuggling case leads them to a deep conspiracy. They track a mysterious pit viper named Gary (Ke Huy Quan) across new areas of the city, uncovering a secret involving the long-hidden history of reptiles in Zootopia and trying to clear their names after being framed.
The films also stars the vocal talents of Shakira, Idris Elba, Alan Tudyk, Nate Torrence, Don Lake, Bonnie Hunt and Jenny Slate reprising their roles from the first film, with Quan, Fortune Feimster, Andy Samberg, David Strathairn, Patrick Warburton, Quinta Brunson, Tommy Chong, John Leguizamo, Josh Gad, Dwayne Johnson and Danny Trejo joining the cast.
The film is rated PG. Common Sense Media recommends the movie for ages 8 and up.
