Blaze East Side

Hope Street's reputation as a destination for dining out continues with the addition of Blaze East Side. In just a short time, the restaurant has became a popular spot to meet, dine and relax thanks to the friendly and upscale ambiance created by Phyllis Arffa and Christine Edmonds.

The two are longtime friends and now partners. For Phyllis, originally a student in the arts, and Chris, a business major, this is their second culinary venture together. Several years ago they operated the successful "Haven Hill Cafe" in Cranston.

The two are happy to have opened their establishment on Hope Street, and neighbors have been quick to frequent the comfortable, casual, and yet sophisticated atmosphere that they have created.

It was explained to me that fusion is a style of cooking and preparing meals. Many of the entrees are from different regions and cultures which are fused together while keeping the integrity of their origins. There is something for everyone on their menu of mouth-watering entrees, and yes, don't forget to leave room for one of their delectable deserts.

If it just a cocktail you wish, you will find an eclectic wine list or just your favorite drink at the warm and cozy cocktail area, and all very reasonably priced.

Weather it be lunch, dinner, desserts, or a drink, you will find an extensive menu to please everyone's palate. A wrap, salad, soup, or pizza; or a meal that is 'cooked with fire,' you will find it all at Blaze East Side.
