Today’s Projo metro notes contained a very extensive report of Summit activities, including the annual meeting, neighborhood engagement plans, special projects and the Annual Yard Sale. Good to see Summit taking up some column inches !
New plans for more neighbor-to-neighbor contact and cooperation in the Summit community at the northern end of Providence’s East Side were announced at the association’s annual meeting last month… The expanded outreach will include a longer newsletter, more regular outreach to the local media, a more interactive Web page, including regular blog entries by board members, as well as advice, support and possibly mini-grants to groups of neighbors interested in any project with community benefit.
