As part of our work with the City of Providence to revitalize the North Main Street corridor, we hope you’ll respond today to a very short and anonymous three-question survey to help us understand the distinct identity of North Main Street, Broad Street, and Elmwood Avenue. We hope to understand each street’s character well enough to define a distinct theme, or identity, for each.  This survey is being  hosted by the City’s Arts, Culture + Tourism department.

In the coming months and years, these themes will help inform local artists as they work to integrate art into bus shelters and other key locations along the corridors. Each corridor’s theme will reflect and reinforce that corridor’s design and unique cultural heritage and provide a sense of orientation that connects people and places along the street in a meaningful way.

Please pass along this brief survey to others in your organization or neighborhood who may not have had a chance to offer input on this very exciting work yet, or to anyone you know who may be interested in the project or in the future of the project corridors. If you have already attended a project meeting and have offered input on the development of the themes, please feel free to expand upon your thoughts by completing this survey.
